in News Headlines

jangThe past few years i.e  the Musharraf regime can easily be said as the era of media and awareness. During this time media in Pakistan has grown like mushrooms. Now there are dozens of TV channels around and interest of the TV audience have been shifted from Drama to current affairs programs. There had been some restrictions and ban on the electronic and print media in the last few months of Musharraf regime. Geo TV & Jang Group, AAj TV and other TV channels were banned to air either their all programs or some specific programs having fun and criticisim on the Mush Govt. During these phase cyber media had played a crucial rule providing the update and breaking news to the audience. Now A majority of Pakistani sitting abroad rely on cyber media in one or other form to seek the information about what is happening in Pakistan. Some websites including PakPoint.com is providing a platform to remain update with the current affairs programs.rauf-klasra-jang
Recently a website known as pkpolitics.com have started a cyber media war with the print media in the name of exposing the corruption by some known journalist Rauf Klasra, Nazir Naji, and Muhammad Malick, and had published some real or fake documentary evidences (God knows better). The website had not disclosed the name of the investigation team behind these evidences if there is any.  The Rauf Klasra had responded to these allegations by writing an article “Akhar Kyoun” in the print media. Later on an other senior journalist Haroon Rashid wrote in favor of Rauf Klasra and defended him and has raised certain allegations on the pkpolitics.com. He have clearly linked this website with the PML-N and requested the Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif to investigate the issue in good faith.malick-220x165haroon-rasheed1
In response to this media war the website visitors of the said website have raised certain questions about the identity and the credibility of the website itself. These corruption stories grabbed the attentions of their web visitors anf they had over whelming responded some in favour and some asking critical questions.  To answer the Haroon Rashid column and their website visitors An alleged PMLN supporter Mr. Ghulam Mustafa appeared in a video and responded in a very immature, emotional and unethical way.  There are still many questions left unanswered. The only contact information for Mr. Ghulam Mustafa have provided so far is a UK mobile number

In the light of above there are some open comments/questions ?

1. Who is actually behind this website Could it be Ansar Abbasi / Shahid Masood / Shaheen Sehbai or Mian Shahbaz Sharif. Well Mr. Ghulam Mustaf is a very close friend of Shahbaz Sharif and He can not deny this fact.
2. Interesting all the journalist targeted so far are from Jang Group of news papers.
3. The Admin of pkpolitics himself is involved in PayPal fraud and we have received some documentary evidences of some PayPal cases decided against this website.
4. The reported stories against the journalist are real? or fake? If real why not a case in the court of law have been registered so for?
5. Is it something really to help Pakistan or just for the purpose of blackmailing.
6. The said website has totally ignored the case of PMLN MPA credit card fraud. The website is very active in publishing the political stories so was it a deliberate act to hide the crimes of PMLN

Some the pkpolitics visitors have suggested a next episode by the Mr. Ghulam Mustafa with the following information

Who is Ghulam Mustafa?

What is his affiliation?

What is his source of income?

Is he journalist or in some other profession?

Is he living in Pakistan or Outside?

Also a visitor said.

GM !

Can I challenge you for stretching facts? You are die hard supporter
of PMLN and Kh. Asif & Ahsan Iqbal are your political masters. Your
patrons in journalism includes Ansar Abbasi.

Please present documentry evidence to refute these factual claims.
Underoath statement on this website will be accpetable. It should state
following:

I swear by Holy Quran that
1- Neither I am currrently not I have ever been a vocal supporter of PMLN.

2- I have never mentioned this website personally to any PMLN leader to seek their support, approval, consent, and / or assent.

3- I have never communicated with Ansar Abbasi to malign any journalist who disagrees with Taliban version of Islam.

4- I have never personally communicated with Shahbaz Sharif, Ahsan
Iqbla, and / or Kh. Asif to promte their and PMLN’s interest using this
web site.

5- I hate PPP and / or any other moderate force.

Can you claim that under oath?
