Breaking News : Blast near ashura congregations in Dera Ismail Khan (Thoya Fazal). Four men are killed, 17 injured including a policeman is reported to be injured in this incident. Earlier Govt. of Pakistan has tighten the security in all the sensitive areas of Pakistan. Govt. has also banned cellular services in 49 cities of Pakistan in order to fight and stop different terrorist activities. Dera Ismail Khan also known as D. I. Khan is a city in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan.
It is situated on the west bank of the Indus River, 200 miles (320 km) west of Lahore and 120 miles (190 km) northwest of Multan. The city is the capital of the district and tehsil of the same name. Dera Ismail Khan is a very sensitive area during the Ashura and Govt has already imposed a curfew order in this area.
Air surveillance of ‘sensitive’ districts on Ashura is also planned by the Government of Pakistan.
