How to Customize the N73′s Active Standby Main Screen

How to change six applications shortcuts in the Active Standby screen of Nokia N 73.Screen shot 2009-09-12 at 14.09.18 Active Standby Screen is the first screen that appear. Here is a step by step tutorial how I have changed my front screen icons shortcut on my Nokia N 73 mobile phone.

  1. Press the Nokia Menu key n73_menu_key as shown in the first picture and choose ToolsScreen shot 2009-09-12 at 14.09.59
  2. Then in the Tools menu click on Settings
  3. Now once in the Settings screen select PhoneScreen shot 2009-09-12 at 14.10.15Screen shot 2009-09-12 at 14.09.36
  4. In the Phone settings menu click on Standby modeScreen shot 2009-09-12 at 14.10.46Screen shot 2009-09-12 at 14.10.31
  5. Finally I will select the Active standby apps.
  6. Here one can customise each of the six shortcuts. Highlight the one you want to change with the Scroll key, then press it. Now scroll through the list of available options and press when the one you want to shortcut to is selected
  7. When you are finished choose Back with the right Selection key and keep pressing Back until you return to the Active Standby screen
