This has come on record that according to very firm in his believes i.e. Sufi Muhammad there is no Any Single Hanky Panky other than Pure SHARIAT nothing but the purist SHARIAT.

Justice Saleem uz Zaman Siddiqui which is also on the same Geo News Record “There are various articles/sections which are totally at the extent of deadly against Islamic Laws and still incorporated in this mentioned said constitution of ‘73 specially those which are carbon copy of Indian Penal Act or Royal English Laws.â€
In other words this Retd. Justice Saleem uz Zaman Siddiqui has been stamping as very true GENUINE BONA-FIDE PERSONA to Mulana Sufi Mohammad.

I think this is one of the problems Taliban will face in helping the people to love Islam. In Islaam there is room for difference of opinion, e.g. issue of video recordings; this is a new situation that has arisen since the teaching of Nabi (saw) and revelation of the Quran. In order to clearly establish that the verses and ayaats apply to this new situation; we require a mujtahid to practice Ijtihaad. If he makes his Ijtihaad based upon evidence and someone follows this based upon explanation of the daleel – we cannot condemn this person unless the evidences are not applicable or relevant to the discussion.
E.g. Video camera, is not a drawing, portrait or likeness of a person. It is that person like for like. I do not believe the ahadith referring to portraits and sculptures apply to this situation? And Allah knows best.

Regardless of Sufi Muhammad’s view of Islam and Pakistan, should every Muslim not admire the gift of Allah? meaning Quran and Sunnah. If we believe in Quran’s and Sunnah supremacy over all other laws for the well being of all humanity, than it should be desire of every Muslim to think of establishing a model society. This course may be different from what Sufi Muhammad think, but to be called a true Muslim it is necessary to think of Quran’s and Sunnah’s supremacy.
