Gilani, Nawaz agree to respect judicial verdicts

RAIWIND: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Monday said the US will not launch drone attacks on Punjab and the government will work on the matters including Swiss banks accounts in accordance with the Constitution.

Addressing a joint press conference with Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif after a meeting on breakfast, the PM said his party Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) wants to move forward having base in Charter of Democracy (CoD), adding he has told Nawaz Sharif that the government is prepared to act upon the CoD.

‘We want to impose the Charter before March 23,’ he informed adding he would advise the committee to put it into practice before the Pakistan Day, as it would please people.
