Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani Monday said NRO and trial of former president Pervez Musharraf are two separate issues and cannot be compared.

Talking to media after offering condolences on the demise of Chaudhry Nisar’s brother at his residence, the Prime Minister said Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-N are two different parties having their own manifestos and commitments.

“We have to play our role as the ruling party while PML-N has to perform as opposition party,” he pointed out, adding “there are some elements that are attempting to create a rift between the two parties but being mature politicians we very well understand the situation and know how to deal with it.”

Regarding India, he said Pakistan wants to build relations with India on equal level and wishes to resolve all the pending issues through dialogue.

When asked whether Pakistan received more evidence from India in connection with Mumbai attacks and if Pakistan intends to respond to the same, Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani said Interior Minister Rehman Malik will give a detailed briefing in this regard at an appropriate time.
