Google have recently completed the acquisition of Slide Inc on August 06, 2010. There are news that this acquisition is possiblly linked with the Google ME social network. The current leader in social network FaceBook have announced a Lockdown for next 60 days to face Google Me, A “lockdown” is an Facebook tradition that meant no one could leave until the task in hand was finished.

Adam D’Angelo, Facebook’s ex CTO and now founder of Q&A service Quora, has decided to lift the lid on the speculation, claiming that the social networking site is very much a reality.
Answering a question on his website, which asked “Is “Google Me” a fake rumour? Misleading evolutionary product update? Or is it really a new social network from Google?”, Adam wrote: “Here is what I’ve pieced together from some reliable sources: This is not a rumour. This is a real project. There are a large number of people working on it. I am completely confident about this.
