HP Slate Project Stopped ? Rumor mill says YES

HP had officially (by Steve Ballmer) unveiled in January for its HP slate project. This product was to be launched in June, 2010. Now many sources including TechCrunch and engadget have reported that HP slate is killed. The rumoured price for this product was about 549 USD. The main speculations why HP may have dropped this project could be the performance of windows 7 on the mobile and tablet device and the other main reason may be recent acquisition of Palm WebOS by the HP.
