Since the availability of iOS4 now iBooks can also be installed on iPhone and iPod touch in addition to iPad. Now all the iDevices with iOS4 support iBooks. You can download iBooks app via iTune from Apple App Store or straight to your device via Apple App Store. With iBooks you can read books in epub format. Not only this one can also read PDF files on their iDevices i.e iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. iBooks also support annonatation but this is only restricted to epub books. You can not annonate PDF files with iBooks. You can simply drag and drop a PDF file into itune and the PDF documents will be added to your library and appear on the PDF bookshelf. You can alos search PDFs for words or phrases like epub books and can also bookmark your favorite pages.
