First I would request you that please leave your feedback after reading this post. During the past couple of months the website visitors at PakPoint Network have increased many folds which resulted in an enormous increase in the bandwidth usage, overage in GPU in my hosting account. Well PakPoint Network does not want to make any thing paid nor want to sell any information. But at the same time I am unable to maintain the hosting cost from my pocket. I have tried to find some alternatives to find cheap hosting but they really do not work.
Yesterday I tried a trial subscription services but some people have shown their reservation.
Now I leave it upto you people to suggest what can be done in this way. Here I leave you some options.
1. Can some body volunteer to provide me with some hosting 200 GB with minimum 2000 GB bandwidth to share some resources?
2. Should I start little subscription fee as I tested yesterday (it is removed for now) may be 2 USD. If only 10% people get this I can make it to lowest 0.5 USD per month, However for those who are unable to pay I want to make it free in any case.
3. Should I stop this video sharing at once as you have some other good alternatives
4. I myself is a student like many of you and now looking for some helping hand to volunteer with me in the content moderation, collection etc.
5. Please suggest any other alternative, feedback, views,

Although 6 USD does’t seem much for me who lives in UK but it could be an issue for people living in Pakistan?
I was thinking cant you get some money out from advertisement and keep increasing you your user base by offering free.
One other alternate is that you calculate how much money you require to run this service free for a year and put the figure as an apeal on your website and ask people to contribute to it to make website free. Also suggest the average amount to be contributed just to give an rough idea. Also give the people daily update on how much have been collected. Wikipedia collected 15 million dollars in less than a month like this.

Thanks a lot for your reply, I have given a proposal of 2 USD only not 6 USD. I have tried several so called cheap hosting packages but these all seems not to work.
You may have noticed that over the time I have tried several ads network it was fine for me to meet the hosting cost from ads but now at this stage it is very difficult to maintain the cost.
I had placed a paypal donation link few weeks before but received no contribution from any side.
By no mean I want to sell any information. I want to make it free for all.
I will consider on the options you have described.

The projection is based on usage patterns that are analyzed each 24 hour period for the first 7 days. When the daily projection times 30 days exceeds your purchased amount, our systems generate this email as a courtesy notice to you.

This is a notice to inform you that your (gs) Grid-Service GPU (Grid Performance Unit) usage for the current cycle is projected to exceed the amount included with your purchased plan. Please review the information below as your account will be charged if you exceed the GPUs included with your (gs) Grid-Service.

Take a look at the new GPU tool in the AccountCenter (https://ac.mediatemple.net). This tool allows you to see which scripts are causing your GPU usage so that you can know which scripts that you should optimize. This tool also automatically provides you with some basic tips for improving the performance of items which looks like they would either be easy to fix or would provide the greatest benefit.

pkpolitcs.com guys made a delay of 24 hour for the people who are not paying for his website but frankly I dont like that because their 24 hour delay is not consistent.
Can you get sports feed on your website like Geo Super or any other sports channel? That will make this site explode..:-)

No doubt, u r doing a nice job.
2 dollars are not that much (less than Rs. 200) and even most of students in Pakistan may be able to afford it. But real problem may be that not all have an access to credit card. So the payment may become a problem for such people.
Some website use forums like google adds to generate revenue. These website give access to download content etc when the visitor clicks some given number of ad links first.
U may use this technique if feasible.

I highly appreciate your work on this site. in my opinion, site must stay free. It will help you in long run to creat revenue from advertisement as well as generating the trafic on your site.

I am trying my best to keep it free, Today I have tried capital talk uploading on an external host but uploading a 250 MB or large file break many times so it took about two hours to upload a single file on external host.
Dear Colleagues,
I know many students here in Germany who have turned towards pakpoint only after other sites started charging some money or applied 24-48 hr delays on the stuff they offer. I understant the probles with web hosting and maintenance issues but i would strongly rommend keeping the content free. However if you could get some advertisements and put some feeds about cricket and other sports with some amount of charges it would help.
