Infolinks in texts Ads on Punjab Public Service Commission Website

Punjab Public Service Commission Website is displaying Infolinks in text advertisements. Infolinks advertisement are displayed when user click or mouse over double underlined highlighted keywords. Punjab Public Service Commission Website is one of the highly visited website in Pakistan specially during the time when new jobs are advertised. It is interesting that the webmaster of ” http://www.ppsc.gop.pk/ ” is generating huge amount of revenue without any notice of the higher officials of the  Punjab Public Service Commission. It clearly shows that the higher officials of the Punjab Public Service Commission are either illiterate of the information technology or are ignorant at is going on with Punjab Public Service Commission Website . Here in the screenshot given below one can see certain keyword are highlighted in green double underline.

On mouse over these highlights text show advertisements powered by infolinks as shown in 2nd screenshot.

The webmaster of Punjab Public Service Commission is not only illegally earning personal money from these infolinks advertisements placed on a Government website but also misleading thousands of the applicants who are interested in to apply online for different jobs announced by the public service commission.

The online application page is also displaying many advertisements especially linked o the keyword “apply online”  which is misguiding the job applicants.

Now it is responsibility of the higher officials of the Punjab Public Service Commission and Govt of the Punjab to trace such culprits from their departments how are gaining personal benefits for themselves.

While writing this blog-post I googled about  Punjab Public Service Commission Website and found infolonks ads have also been spotted by other bloggers at ExpressPakistan and at TelecomNewsPK .
