List of NRO Beneficiaries

The Government of Pakistan had issued list of 8041 persons who benefited from NRO including 34 politicians. The list includes President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Zardari, Begum Nusrat Bhutto (Mother in Law of President), Interior Minister Rehman Malik, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, MQM Leader Dr. Farooq Sattar, Federal Minister Babar Ghauri, PPP Leader Jahangir Badar, Pakistan Ambassador in USA and UK Hussain Haqqani and Wajid Shams-ul-Hassan. The top beneficiary of NRO is Altaf Hussain whose 72 cases including 31 murder cases were dismissed.
