Meera calls for CM notice over receiving life threats

9-8-2009_86575_lFilm actress Meera has called Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for taking note on life threats she is allegedly receiving, Geo news reported Meera as saying on Monday.

According to sources, film actress Meera said I appeal to Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for provision of life and property security as she claimed to have received life threats many times.

In her submitted plea to CM Punajb Complaint Cell, Meera wrote a case has been registered in Defense police station on fake charges of stealing household goods from her own house while a person claiming to be her husband, is sending her threats of life on the directions of foreign elements, sources said.

She also appealed to CM of taking notice of police raid on her house sans presence of lady police officer, sources added.
