Microsoft is going to close the cashback scheme on its Bing search, and will be completely shut down on July 30, 2010. TechCrunch have reported this with a very intresting heading “Can’t Buy Me Love: Microsoft Closes The Register On Bing Cashback” This was not the first time Microsoft has failed a cashback scheme. They had also tried this service in May 2008 with their old search “Live Search”. Microsoft is trying hard to catch google by using different strategies but so far they have not received a good response.
