Microsoft Internet Explorer Drops in Pakistan Browser Market Share 2010

Microsoft Internet Explorer market share is on its decline in Pakistan. The above graph indicate since march 2009 till march 2010 internet explorer market share in Pakistan has declined from 65.65 % to 52.79 %. Microsoft IE is also observing a decline in its europian market share . The decline in IE market share may be attributed due to several reasons which include ongoing security issues with internet explorer. It is commonly observed that while using internet explorer one is more prone to malwares and browser hijack. The market share for the firefox in Pakistan is increasing along with the increasing global trend for the firefox. During last one year its share has increased from 26.13% to 29.57% whoever after firefox Google Chrome has a markete share of 12.99% with a big increase from 4.52 % during the last one year. After Google chrome, opera is gaining popularity in Pakistan and has a 3.76% market share as of March 2010.
