How aptly stated by Kathy: “What divide us, are beliefs and ideologies. These are not facts. They are just creeds. Belief is acceptance of a proposition without evidence. Wouldn’t it be nice to get beyond them and
discover that after all we are one people?” Very true.

sam June 12, 2010 at 12:01 pm

The veracity of what all the prophets said is evident in the fact that they contradict one another: one affirms what the other denies, and yet each claims to be the sole depository of the truth; thus the New Testament contradicts the Torah, the Qu’ran the New Testament.

sam June 12, 2010 at 12:03 pm

Custom, tradition, and intellectual laziness lead men to follow their religious
leaders blindly. Religions have been the sole cause of the bloody wars that have
ravaged mankind. Religions have also been resolutely hostile to philosophical
speculation and to scientific research. The so-called holy scriptures are
worthless and have done more harm than good, whereas the writings of the
ancients like Plato, Aristotle, Euclid, and Hippocrates have rendered much
greater service to humanity.”

Khalid Khan June 12, 2010 at 12:15 pm

Muslims read the same book but understand it in so many different ways. Why?
We may disagree with the understanding of the suicide bombers, but do you doubt their sincerity? They are ready to die to prove their faith.
Why they do not understand the Quran in the right way, the way we do? How many sects are there in Islam? Is God’s message then not clear, otherwise why so much confusion and so many different interpretations? Is your interpretation more correct than mine?

Kathy Farrell June 12, 2010 at 12:21 pm

Will you please explain what do you understand from these verses?
“The unbelievers are the vilest of animals” (8:55).
“Slay the unbelievers wherever they find them” (2:191)
“Fight them and show them harshness (9:123)
“Do not take them as friends and helpers (3:28)
And “Smite their necks” (47:4)
All I can understand is what I see and what I see is a message of
ha te and violence. If you seem to understand the Quran differently. Please tell me what are the real meanings of these seemingly verses of intolerance and hate?

sam June 12, 2010 at 12:24 pm

The verse ” la rayba feehi (there is no doubt in it)” . I am sorry to
inform you that the majority of mankind doubts this and that is why they
are not all Muslims.

Adil June 12, 2010 at 12:26 pm

Guys, let’s stick to Ayesha Gillani’s bikini. It’s more exciting to talk about. I know for sure all you guys out there would just love to get underneath that bikini. I know, I would. It’s natural.

Ali June 12, 2010 at 12:30 pm

Im sure Mike must have gotten underneath her bikini a hundred times by now in his imagination. In fact many of us would have done the same. By now Ayesha must be so experienced knowing the color, size and shape of so many different cocks.

Madiha June 12, 2010 at 12:31 pm

don’t forget, the feel of it inside…..oooh, that’s what matters the most…..the feel. U listenin’ pal Mike?

Khalid Khan June 12, 2010 at 12:41 pm

Muslims have been playing the game of victimization ad nauseam and people are developing an adverse reaction to it. The world has had enough of Muslims sensitivity and they do not give a damn anymore. It is time to tell the truth how our own people have exploited Islam. If anyone can’t stand the truth, that is their problem. We will have to put up with the rising anger of the world.
The world has had it up to here with Islamic violence and their game of victimhood. Enough with hypocrisy, enough with lies, enough with terrorism and enough with this game of victimization!

Adil June 12, 2010 at 12:42 pm

I sure would like to smell that bikini and frame it on my wall for keeps.

zaid June 12, 2010 at 12:46 pm

Here is a friend of all from Saudi Arabia:
Muslims will resort to threats in order to intimidate their critics and
silence them and then claim victory. That is why a real discussion between
Muslim scholars and the critics of Islam has never taken place. The reason is
that Muslims cannot tolerate any criticism. Why? It is because they
can’t respond to them. As soon as they realize their position is precarious they
find an excuse to copout.

sam June 12, 2010 at 12:59 pm

As long as beliefs do not harm others, we should tolerate them. It is not up to us to decide what people should believe and what they should not believe. This is the essence of freedom of thought. You and I may not agree with Hinduism, Christianity, Zoroastrianism or any other Faith. Since these beliefs are not intrusive, we have no right to stop them and force those who believe in them to abandon their beliefs.

However, we must not tolerate beliefs that harm others. If a belief teaches, slay those who do not believe wherever you find them; they are unclean, do not associate with them and do not take them as friends, they are worse than animals, God hates them and they are fuel for hellfire, such a belief is dangerous. All mankind will obviously come together to eradicate this evil beief of hate.

A similar doctrine of hate brought much death and devastation in the last century. Everyone had to join force to fight it. We must not let this happen again. We must eradicate every evil doctrine. Intolerant beliefs should not be tolerated. When humanity fought to put an end to Nazism, everyone vowed “never again”, but a similar or even more dangerous doctrine of hate is raising its ugly head again. People are not opposing it because it is disguised as religion. We must unmask it and say no to it.

Ali June 14, 2010 at 4:02 am

All is signs of great frustrations among people, haves and have nots. Most madrassah lot is among have nots, so now we have a lethal mix of have nots and religion.

Khalid Khan June 14, 2010 at 4:34 am

We have been conditioned and brainwashed into thinking that religion (any religion) is sanctimonious and beyond criticism, so we make a lot of noise and go about destroying public property whenever our so-called religious sentiments are hurt. Are we muslims only because we were born in a muslim family, and now feel some kind of sense of loyalty to our religion? Then it is but natural that if we were born i a hindu or christian family then we would have a sense of loyalty to those religion to whichever one we belonged. So nothing so special about muslims or anyone being loyal to their respective religions, but going around claiming that “my religion is better tha yours’ is where we all go wrong. All the true prophets are from God and therefore all religions too are from God. Focus of our beliefs should be on God for that is what religion and prophethood is about, that is to make us believe in the oneness of God. But we spend too much time on other trivial aspects of religion like rituals, glorifying our respective prophets to the extent that we make them into dieties and objects of worship which is wrong for only God is to be worshipped. As most followers of religions are illiterate and ignorant, they follow like a dumb herd without knowing what and why they follow a particular set of beliefs. They do not have the intellectual capacity to understand, so they lack mental freedom to question and find answers. Any kind of belief must satisfy the believer that what he believes in is right for him. It must not be vague nor create confusion. Unfortunately, all religious beliefs the world over have created divisions and confusion, and merely served as an means to exploit the people by playing on their fear of the unknown and other vunerabilities, and to subjugate their minds, and to render them into a dumb herd that blindly follows without using their grey matter inside their heads. Religious heads who manipulate them do not like those who ask too many questions, because these heads do not have the answers to give, so they threaten those who ask questions, with die consequences and the ‘fire of hell’ in the Hereafter. Simple, feeble minded people easily succumb to such tactics by the religious leaders, in the past as well as these times. It is indeed very true that mainly the impoverished segments of society hang on to religion because it gives them a sense of false hope of a better future in the Hereafter. It gives them the false hope of equality, which we have never seen in any society of the world, and can never be. So religion is as they say, the opium of the masses.

Kathy Farrell June 14, 2010 at 5:04 am

I think all religions mean well, but where they go wrong, very wrong, is in their quest to subjugate and imprison the minds of their followers, censuring those who criticise or ask questions, or demand changes to be made to keep pace with contemporary times. Any belief that takes away freedom of thought and expression is not worth believing in. Any belief that aims at dominating the world through the use of might and force, is an evil doctrine, and must be resisted and shunned. Beliefs must only spread and gain acceptance through the example set by its adherents, and by appealing to the minds of different classes of society…………not just the the poor class who are the most gullible due to their inorance and lack of access to proper education.

Mike June 14, 2010 at 9:15 am

Ms World Pakistan’s bikini was auctioned last week for 10,000 Canadian dollars. Can u beat that! Lucky bum who bought it. Now he can stay turned on for the rest of his life. I wish pal Sami that ur Uzma would also let me have her undies…I’ll pay whatever the asking price. As ofr u Madiha, I’d much rather have u minus ur undies. How about it? Come on, be sporting.

Ali June 14, 2010 at 9:17 am

Totally agree with Mike this time. Why do girls hide that piece of heavenly delight between their legs when they know they have to open their legs for some guy sooner or later???

Adil June 14, 2010 at 9:20 am

Mike and Ali, do you have sisters? Would you let them do what you are suggesting for other girls to do?

Mike June 14, 2010 at 9:25 am

Who am I to stop my sis from doing what she wants. This is free country my friend and each one has the right to do as he or she pleases with themselves. Its my sis own body so it os her own choice to do as she pleases with it. Tou have a problem with that? Thats the trouble with you Paki guys, you are all too intrusive in the personal lives of others and dont bother looking at your selves.

Ali June 14, 2010 at 9:26 am

I dont hvany sister.

Ali June 14, 2010 at 9:27 am

There are lot many Pakistanis who have sex with their own sisters. Some ant but out of fear don’t do it yet they fantasize their sisters while masturbatins. I evenb know a few whomasturbate using their sisters shalwaar and panties. Entire mankind gre out incest between brothers and sisters. The Phaoanic Dynasty of Egypt that reigned for 2000 years, the longest in history, encouraged marriages between brothers and sisters. Some Roman Emperors also did that. The trouble with such marriages was that communities practising this began to shrink. So in order to expand communities, and in order for religion to spread, brother and sister marriages were discouraged and then finally forbidden altogether. In Hinduism and Catholics, even cousin marriages are considered as incest. In the USA, fourteen states ban inter-cousin marriages. I am married to a first cousin, and we live in the US, in one of those states where we are looked upon as having an incest relationship. Researchers have ascertained that sexual pleasure in incest is more pronounced and more heightened than normal sex with any other man or woman who is not of the same blood. It is the meeting of the two bodies having same blood that creates such a reaction resulting in extreme sexual pleasure. There is one pitfall, however, that is, any male or female who has incest experience can never enjoy sex with any other person as he/ she will not get that level of intense pleasure wth another person. This can be a curse in forming normal relationships in society, for those who indulge in sex. There are even such cases where sisters are physical attracted to their brothers, and in some cases they also have sexual relationships. The danger is that after having such incest relationship they would not be able to enjoy sex when they are married, with their husbands. Some continue having incest with their brother even after being married off. So behen chodi is common in our sociey and most other societis, but since it is a taboo, so no one dare even talk about it…..for he ten becomes a behen chod. What about bhai chod females?

kathy June 18, 2010 at 10:17 am

I agree with Jamal in what he has said. It is all very true and scientifically proven. I happen to be involved in working with women from all social stratas, mainly in rural areas, and in some urban areas as well. I gave one of the findings of a survey we did on rural women, earlier on on this website. It exposed that nearly 30% women were having sexual relations with their close blood relatives. Incest is found to be more common among Kashmiri lower middle and lower classes. But there is one big difference in the results of the survey in rural areas as compared with the urban areas. In the rural areas the close blood relatives commonly included first cousins, real uncles, brother-in-laws, and nephews and nieces. Only very few cases of brother-sister relationships were identified. However, in the urban areas, cases of brother and sister having sex were more common. The truth is that whether we admit it or not, incest exists in all societies and will continue to exist for ll times simply because that is the way the human race started. Incest was practised by civilizations for many centurie, but with the arrival of religions, it was discouraged and eventually prohibited.

wow, kisi muslim mulk ki larki ko nanga kar ke us ki sirf aik tasweer internet par bhejo, is se behter publicity ka koi tareeqa nahi. audience charo taraf se khud hi khichi chali aegi!! i mean 738 comments, wow!!!

no wonder pakistan itna peechhe hai!!!!!

to anis and all others who think she has done a good job, larki ki asal khuubsoorti us ki haya me hoti hai. me ne aaj tak larki ko chadar se ziyada khubsoorat hulie me nai dekha. modernization ise nai kehte. if they want to picture the beauty of pakistani women, this is definitely not the way because this is definitely not the beauty of a pakistani woman.

to Kathy Farrell and sam, forget about what islam teaches. forget about ur own religion.
its an utter disgrace to the name of woman. if islam tells us not to shame our fathers, i don’t think its that wrong.

Those who are representating Islamic Republic of Pakistan in such fields and bringing scar on the face of this country must be kicked out and should live with those, whose culture they adopt. This lady can never be a daugther of a Muslim family, even if she claims. Shame shame and million times shame for her and her whole family
