nazir20naji20-20jang1Nazir Naji Plot Scandal Must Listen the audio

Thanks to Ahmad Norani (The original source to these audios)

AoA,

I am doing a story regarding illegal allotment of plots to some journalists by the federal government. For this I called Nazir Naji yesterday (Friday – 17th April 2009) to take his version. Afterwards he called me back two times and abused and threatened me in the words I never heard in my life. plz see his real face

Attached are the three audio recordings.

1st is my call to senior columnist Nazir for taking his version on illegal plot allotement to him in Islamabad despite the fact he already got plots in Lahore.

2nd and 3rd are the audio recordings in which Nazir Naji called me and threatened and abused in a languge I never heard through out my life. Please hear this and tell your viewers about the real face of these “intellectuals”.

Thanks,

Ahmad Noorani

Journalist

Incidentally while I was listening to this, Nazir Naji was on ARY in a repeat telecast in its programme One World. I was wondering the guy who appears so decent on the talk shows could produce such a colourful conversation. I hope this tape is played to his mother, wife, daughter, sons and then ask him this is what you have learned as a journalist over 50 years of service. What a proud moment….after 50 years. I do not envy him at all. I am sure he still looks at his face in the morning without any shame…..reflects on his upbringing and the family he came from. Shame and again Shame and nothing ekse on this pathetic person. I wonder if he was drunk…! might explain a lot..!!

Nazeer Naji loose his temprament during this conversion, he should have shown patience that he learned during 50 years of generalism. People used to object against his yellow generalism. However I never believed. This conversation definitely will affect his rating advesely..

Khurram Khattak April 20, 2009 at 4:17 am

Three Comments:
1- Great patience and stamina of the young journalist.
2- Nazir Naji was in NASHA either of sharab or of takat, or both.
3- Young journlist na thorai say mazai bhe liya han. He should have ended/avoided the discussion.

medimaxusa April 20, 2009 at 4:35 am

Nazir Naji is Lafaffa Jounalist, since long long time, See the face of this type of jounalist, But Pakistan will be long Live. These type of poeple are totally Jahanimi.

usman April 20, 2009 at 9:25 am

an unusual insight into the hidden world that goes on unpublished in the media.

maybe the plot in question is not illegal, but the way Mr. Naji has reacted, thinking of himself as some sort of God of journalism, shows the true colors.

this is what i have to add. everyone should be judged. that is not to say do not trust anyone. but never place anyone beyond judjment, even the highest ruler and most pious cleric. and also judge yourself to gain real respect.

nizam April 20, 2009 at 2:31 pm

I m wondering, such a man can use such dirty language n abuses, I feel shame being a muslim, n pray for him that may God give him the right way. Ameen

Bilal April 20, 2009 at 4:30 pm

Ahmad Noorani, the young jounralist who questioned Nazir Naji, could have ended the convorsatoin sooner but he was clearly trying to make a story out of it. So to me his act is as disgraceful as is Nazir Naji’s abusive conversation…

tahiraziz April 20, 2009 at 5:42 pm

Naji is a real “Ibn ul waqat”.media should get rid of him.He is a real munafiq.

Viking April 20, 2009 at 8:08 pm

Abbasi congratulations!
You have done a great job. and congratulations to Ahmad Noorani who have shown a great patience during talk with nazir naji. nazir naji should die with shame. our chief justice should take serious action against naji.

Rahat April 23, 2009 at 6:10 am

Naji You senior “MY FOOT “ what you give to Pakistan and what you get from it. Pakistan survive without the so called senior journalist like you but Naji Shamless cann’t survive without Pakistan.
Naji showed his inner person to not only Ahmed Noorani even all the world that how bad character and loose talker that such a great journalist. Shame on you Naji you should learn how to talk with the youngster in your old, try to escape from “JAHANUM” but you are looking for it to abusing your junior. Shame Shame Shame Naji you lose the temper and even you lose your character as well as your lose talk. You should die because of this deed. ( But if you had “SHAM” you never behave like a rude and wild person with your junior ) ( Really Sham on you Naji being a journalist you gave very bad impression and worst talk for the juniors.

Umer April 23, 2009 at 11:57 am

Hence proven, Nazir has not leart anything from 50 years of his journalism. He acted a a complete moron. He is a stupid stupid man. Not a good human being. Also he sounded liked he was drunk. Not to mention he proved himself guilty. Hats off to the yound jounalist who showed a lot of patience.

Peshawar April 24, 2009 at 5:30 am

Yeah shame on Naji, but the problem is today still I can see the article of Naji is published in Jang, such black sheep can only flourish if there is support for society. If nobody support him and allow his work to publish any where than I think such thugs would be eliminated in the long run.

So Naji kinda people are here because we as society never bother to close their HUQA PANI…

Well done Noorni. Hay recording calls in not a good habit :) and is wrong if other party is not already informed.

Thanks

Muneer Ahmad April 24, 2009 at 7:23 am

The man obviously needs psychiatric help (anger management).Without treatment he appears to be a sure candidate for a potentially fatal stroke. However I have to say also that Mr Naji does appear to have been deliberately provoked and infighting within the journalist community cannot be ruled out as a motive for instigating Mr Noorani to put these seemingly ‘innocent’ questions about plot allotment to Mr Naji. What surprises me is that a journalist of considerable experience fell so easily for this ‘trick’ & got so worked up sullying his ‘image’ in the bargain.

Why should we trust you. I like Nazeer Naji, his views, his mature style and respect him. He is not like todays so called honest young journalists, always after some scandals.

Mubashir April 26, 2009 at 3:35 am

Plots for journalists? Why in the world any government would do that unless….(you scratch my back and I ….!!!)

Feel like calling this guy Nazir Paaji!!

These guys are supposed to be a model for juniors but, the problem is they all have an attitude problem and when challenged they (like any other person with some authority), begin the conversation with “Do you know who I am?”

How tasteless, how unethical, how absurd. How arrogant. In journalism, truth is the goal and not any phony protocol.

Ayaz April 26, 2009 at 5:33 am

I think all this fuss has been created by this guy Noorani may be under the shadow of his boss Ansar Abbassi in a professional jealousy with Naji. The fact is that journalism in this country is not a sacred profession. It is just a group blackmailers prevailing around. Otherwise no journalist is fair, sincere or angel. All of them have lot of stories with them, it is the one which they want to scandalize. What I know some inner side of this profession is that bribery, drinking, blackmailing, leg-pulling are very common fashions. Whether it Noorani, Naji or Abbassi, they all live in same liter.

Now, keeping above scenario in view, following facts merge very prominently from these audios:-
1) Noorani has so-called tried to frame a story regarding irregularities in plot allotment to some senior journalists.
2) Initially, Naji while he was in his complete senses and temper under his control replied Noorani’s questions very wel in a sensible and gentleman like way.
3) Naji being from the same profession, later realized the bad intentions of Noorani, so he rings him back.
4) But this time probably Naji is drunk (as obvious from his voice) could not control his temper and started abusing Noorani badly for blackmailing.
5) Since Noorani is recording all this conversation covertly. So he was behaving very well through out the conversation showing himself a very self-compose journalist.
6) Later the matter of irregularities in plots allotment goes for six, however Noorani is very much successful in defaming Naji personality and destroying his professional career.
So please don’t be very impressed with Noorani as well. He has also played dirty in this fuss.

shery April 26, 2009 at 8:15 am

O Bhai Mr Farhan kindly read out about naji even i was a biggest fan of him per he is real wolf dont u know about him? if yes then plz kindly read out wat mr khalid khawaja said about him …. what he did in nawaz Government…. he is such a big liar… n a big corrupt journalist… sorry to say but thats a truth…

Mubashir April 26, 2009 at 5:19 pm

Anyone defending Naji should know that the man admitted to foul language and has apologised per The News (Aprl 21). So please stop being in denial and taking refuge in a most favored Pakistani pastime: “It is a conspiracy”.

Mubashir April 26, 2009 at 5:24 pm

“Do you know who you are talking to?”

This is an (unfortunately) a common question that is found in the peoples of both India and Pakistan . Any one who thinks he or she is something when challenged, starts with “Do you know who I am?”. Or…”I am so and so and have been here since 19XX. How dare a junior guy like you ask me such questions?”.

Interestingly, having lived in the West, I have never ran into such attitude. No one brags about his position, his Uncle’s position or gives his father’s reference to impress you. If someone were to indulge in such talk, it would be considered extremely unethical and tasteless!!

And they also don’t have the “Sirji” this and “Sirji” that style of addressing others. Mostly, They operate on first name basis!!

The issue here is what does the government expect when it allots plots to journalists? (or for that matter to judges?).

The parliament should raise this issue and declare this practice illegal, once and for all. That is if the Parliament has any members in there with some sense of right and wrong.

Nagi Saab!
Aap ki phone pe ki gai guftago ne mere galliyon ke ghazane main bohat izafa kiya hai…

Black-sheep of (print) media should be exposed before the people. What naa-ji did on the phone had exposed his lust and greed. I am not saying that we should not admire the efforts which have been carried out by senior journalists but plot allotment incident certainly depicts level of corruption and bribery. I mean that if nagi has got his scheme in Lahore then why he has being awarded with another cake in Islamabad.
Hazrat Omer ((S.A.W. ) had also been questioned by an old widow and Islam has given that right to all of us that we can even question the president. Ahmad Noorani has been treated badly throughout that conversation just because he is junior. It shows that if corruption cannot be halted then it should be legitimized. I think that we should teach a lesson to such naa-ji(s) by saying “Na Ji Na”

For Ahmad Noorani; I will say:
Great people don’t do different things; they just do the thing differently.

for nagi; _l_

Hats off to Ahmed Noorani..

Yeh so called idols, nobody questioned their corruption in last 5o years and when Ahmed asked, look at him….i hate u nazeer naji

Fatima , London April 29, 2009 at 1:59 pm

those who favor nagi here and cursing Ansar abbasi and Noorani, can anything like this justify his language here???

If he is right, why is he so angry. We blame our politicains for corruption but unfortunately, we all lecches sucking this country..from a pion, to clerk to everyone..only those are honest who do not get the opportunity..

Farooq April 29, 2009 at 2:40 pm

Nazir Naji throws naked abuses to Ahmed Noorani. Hundreds of comments have appeared on different sites. 99% of them have condemned the words used by Nazir Naji. Most of them have shown no surprise on it. Only 1% have indulged in technical things like recording conversation is illegal etc. However by search engine for more comments I found the best comments at a site called http://mylittle-p****an.blogspot.c*m/ It not only made comments on Nazir Naji but it told a story about Mujeeb Shami reading of which gives indication it is true one. Most of our senior column writers or ancher person thought talk like poor men but they are from the richest families.

ghulam mujtaba April 29, 2009 at 5:14 pm
