London (August 05, 2012): Pakistan beat South Africa by 5-4 Goals in a Hockey Match in London Olympics 2012 Tournament on Sunday at Riverbank Arena, London.
Pakistan defeated South Africa 5-4 in a tough contest here on Sunday to keep alive their hopes of winning a medal in the London Olympic hockey tournament.
In the first half both teams had scored three goal each but Pakistan were in danger of defeat three minutes before the end. However, they finally emerged victorious through a clean goal from Waseem Ahmed.
Pakistan now play their next match against Australia on Tuesday.
