A pilot of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flew his friend to London without ticket and boarding card bypassing all formalities, Geo News reported Monday.

According to Geo News exclusive report, the incident happened on Sunday at PIA’s flight PK-787 bound for London.

Pilot Hamid Gardezi, also serving as Principal Director Airport Services in Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on deputation took his friend Syed Salim Zaidi, a member of CAA and former minister along with him without fulfilling the requirements and immigration formalities.

Defying all rules and regulations, Gardezi stunned personnel of the FIA, immigration and the ASF that formalities will be completed later.

The flight than departed but soon was forced to land at Karachi airport again after a passenger Azam Khan got heart attack.

All the details of the incident have been registered in PIA’s logbook.

Captain Hamid declared himself as a close friend of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Salim Zaidi called him as a friend of President Asif Zardari.

As long as corrupt PM & President will not be washed in the washing machine (Judiciary), such type of cases will be repeated again & again. When the whole system is rubbish how any department can work honestly. Pilot of PIA is a close friend of Mr Gillani who’s appointment was made by Mr Gillani, naturally it was not on merit bases so he will act as the representative of Gillani, same is the passenger who proclaims to be the friend of Zardari, naturally he will act according to Zardari’s intention. We have to clean our society from such corrupt evils who are sitting on top. To-day the latest corruption news has been telecast on TV channels that Rehman Malik, Farooq Naik and Shauket Tareen are billioners. Can any one ask them from which source they have earned this wealth, definitely from corruption, and all these are very close to our President Zardari.

This serious security breach and open violation of international law must not go un-punished, Pilot Hamid Gardezi and Salim Zaidi need to be disciplined and they must lose their jobs. It was a clear defiance of national security and misuse of powers, these two individuals holding senior positions are a disgrace and shame for Pakistan. Besides losing their jobs they should also face criminal charges.
The authorities in FIA, Immigration and the ASF at Karachi airport who allowed Gardezi and Zaidi to proceed to the plane without going through the security checks must also face the discipline as they failed to perform their duties.
I am certain that that AAAE/IAAE International Airport Security agency will find out about this breach of security and violation of international law, Pakistan may face some tough questioning which may lead to some penalization.

PIA pilot flies friend sans boarding pass — Thanks God there is no any directly blame to Taliban or Alqaida or there is any sort of possibility of linkage therein the involvement of Islamic Militant Activity.

Air Traffic Control & Human Smuggling such violation is directly under control of Ministry of Interior/Defense whose minister is Rehman Malik & Ahmad Mukhtar both never stop & direct in direct blame to Taliban & Alqaida just to please to American merely for gaining some US$ but it seems this time they are exempted.

PIA pilot has not done something unique, it happened in Pakistan very common. Any person who is not allowed by Suprem Court to leave Pakistan, he can very easily fly from any Pakistani airport either by a phone call from President or PM house or just giving some amount he can fly abroad. There are thousend & thousend cases on record, which shows how people fly with the help of corrupt politicians.PIA pilots are godfather on earth, druken pilots tried to fly the regular flight from Oslo & Toronto airport, later on arrested by the authorities. Many ministers involved in illegal attempys abroad, but no action was taken against them, because they are all godfather of Pakistan.

Govt. shall make it imperative for all the VVips to show their boarding passes, regardless of their higher positions, otherwise they should not be allowed boarding. I think the pilot thought he was driving a bus. It is too much from such a responsible person. For the lesson to others they both should be given punishments and be expelled from their jobs.
