President directs FO to gather information about Talat Hussain

ISLAMABAD : President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday strongly condemned the attack by Israeli Defence Forces on the peaceful flotilla carrying humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza city.

The President took notice of news regarding missing of the Executive Director of Aaj News, Syed Talat Hussain, and his producer, Raza Mahmood Agha, along with Nadeem Ahmed of Khubaid Foundation onboard.

The President directed the Foreign Office to get in touch with its Missions abroad to ascertain the well being of the nationals.

The President also expressed his profound grief over the loss of innocent lives and injuries to others in the incident and urged the international community to take note of the unwarranted military action by Israel.
