Pakistan People’s Party has nominated Murad Ali Shah as the new Sindh chief minister.
Opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has nominated Khurram Sher Zaman for the slot, while Muttahida Qaumi Movement bring in its own nominee.
The PPP will try to win support of all parties. “We will listen to all stakeholders,” Murad Ali Shah siad.
The CM has bid farewell to staff of the CM House which he occupied for over eight years, source said.
Qaim Ali Shah will move to the Jilani house today, sources added.
Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad on Wednesday accepted the resignation of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, dissolving the provincial cabinet.
Speaking to media representatives outside the Governor House, Ebad said he has approved Sindh CM’s resignation, adding that the provincial government would continue to seek advantage from the experience of Qaim Ali Shah.
