Supreme Court takes suo motu notice in Karachi target killings. The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has summoned details regarding target killing in Karachi from the electronic media. According to the details released by the SC office, Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry took suo motu notice of Karachi situation and asked private television channels to provide footage of the unrest as well as CDs and DVDs of different programmes on Karachi law and order situation. These will then be presented before the Chief Justice of Pakistan for his review.
