PTI has dissolves its internal organisational setup in Punjab and Khyber PK. This setup is replaced with steering committees at provincial levels for membership campaign and party elections. However, organisational structures in Sindh and Balochistan have been kept intact. In a statement issued from party’s Central Media Cell in Lahore, PTI’s Central Information Secretary Shafqat Mahmood has said that conveners have been appointed at provincial, regional and district levels in Punjab and KPK in place of previous organizational structures.
PTI Conveners will not take part in elections to ensure free and fair polls in the party, he added.
