HEC has no doubt done a great job by providing an excellent opportunity to the young generation for higher and PhD level education within the country and abroad. At the same time in a race to increase the total number of Universities in Pakistan HEC has also painted different colleges with the name of Universities. Sargodha University is one of example of these college converted into University. University of Sargodha administration since its establishment has given much emphasis to affiliate its surrounding colleges then improvement of the University itself to make this college  a real University. This was not the limit then University of the Sargodha started violating the territorial jurisdiction of the other Universities particularly University of the Punjab by offering affiliation to the sub standard colleges in Faisalabad rejected by the University of the Punjab. In response to this University of the Punjab issued Public Notice in interest of General Public and categorically stated that

According to University of the Punjab Act 1973 5(2), any educational institution situated within above mentioned territorial jurisdiction cannot affiliate itself with any other University without permission of University of the Punjab & Govt. of the Punjab.

Despite these notices University of Sragodaha administration is offering affiliation to the sub standard and Ghost Colleges in Faisalabad making a good source of income and personal tours for the administration in the name of affiliation. Recently a Ghost College namely Madina College of Commerce claimed to be affiliated with University of the Sargodha has started offering admission for commerce education on account of a handsome amount of money to all those students how are failed in their previous examinations and otherwise are not eligible to get admission in any other University or College.

NO COMMENT because nothing will change, no one is interested to improve the standard of education in Pakistan. People pointed out this fact to HEC and they know but again sorry. So keep trying to put your efforts to improve the things without any expectation.
