Eric Giler, CEO of the US firm WiTricity, at the TED Global conference held at Oxford England. WiTricity Corp. CEO Eric Giler says within one year, electronics like phones and laptops will no more depend on power chords for they can be powered by wireless electricity. WiTricity is based on strong coupling between electromagnetic resonant objects to transfer energy wirelessly between them.
